Warm the Children is a program that provides new winter clothing and footwear for our area’s local children (to age 18) for families in need.
Founded in 1982, Connecticut Food Bank is a member of Feeding America’s nationwide network of food banks. The mission of Connecticut Food Bank is to provide nutritious food to people in need.
Are you food insecure? Need immediate help? We also can assist with basic hygiene items, toiletries, and cleaning products/paper goods if available.
Low-cost, half-day camps for youth aged 5-13, plus leadership opportunities for young teens. This program is for families of school-age children who don’t require or don’t want a full-day camp experience.
Yearlong program based at Morgan, which pairs 11th graders with real-world experiences in a career of their choice. All 11th graders at Morgan are eligible.
Twice yearly seminar with a registered nurse to explain all the changes of puberty. This program is for students entering puberty and their mothers or female guardians.
Support group for adults to connect about the unique challenges of raising their grandchildren. Welcoming environment and open to surrounding towns.
Support adolescent girls as they move through middle school. Long-running discussion group for six to eight middle school girls to talk about their lives with a mental health professional in a relaxed environment.
