Train children how to stay home alone safely for a few hours.

Typically 4th and 5th graders, but others can attend at parent discretion.

Home Alone is a free, twice-a-year class for kids and parents to learn basic safety tips for staying home without adult supervision.

By participating, kids and their adults can

  • Learn essential safety information to prepare them for staying home alone
  • Develop a collaborative Home Alone contract
  • Test out various what-if situations by role-playing with a police dispatcher
  • Ask questions and express their concerns

Watch for listings on Facebook page, via school communication, or ask to be added to our email list. Home Alone is usually offered once in the fall and once in the spring.
