Letter from the Director
Welcome! Maybe you know us, or perhaps this is your first time learning about Clinton Human Services. Either way, we’re happy you’re here and excited to share more about our organization and some exciting changes we’ve made over the past few years!
At its core, our organization seeks to connect with Clinton residents and provide services & supports that will help to improve life for everyone in our town.
Our team believes that “pairing people with the right resources can reshape a life,” giving purpose to our work as we address a wide variety of needs. We offer therapy, innovative youth development, and prevention programs as well as social services to help our residents meet their basic needs.
Being supportive of others is the most important thing we can do, and we take that to heart. When folks in our community face adversity, either globally, locally, or personally, we feel it’s our duty to help. The pandemic forced us to reevaluate how we can build on the success of our in-person services and stay connected while providing assistance remotely.
We believe there are many opportunities to work together. Adapting to the needs of our community meant we had to modernize support systems and find new ways to hear the ideas and opinions of our residents.
The website you’re viewing is the first of many ways we plan to address this need. Finding information should be easy, which is why we invested in new digital tools like our Online Resources Directory and have quick access to our Clinton Resource Guide for Seniors at the bottom of each page.
All voices, younger to older, are equally important in the Human Services story. Everyone who lives or works in Clinton contributes to Human Services in some capacity. We can always benefit from your input and perspective. Please don’t hesitate to reach out.
We truly believe that “Human Services is all of us.”
